Police are hunting for three men after a drive-by shooting.
A 26-year-old man was driving in Glasgow's Maryhill area when a car pulled up alongside his vehicle and shots were fired.
Strathclyde Police are treating the incident on Thursday evening as attempted murder.
Detectives have yet to trace the victim, whose black Audi car was later found abandoned in Bishopbriggs.
They are hunting for three men dressed in black who were in a silver Volkswagen Golf.
The shooting happened on Cumlodden Drive at about 8pm.
Detective Superintendent Clark Hill said: "It's important that we trace those responsible for this incident and I would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the Maryhill or Bishopbriggs areas around the time of the incident on Thursday night.
"It's possible they may have seen something which will assist us in our inquiry."
