Fifth bookies robbed in days - Glasgowgangland.com: "PAISLEY cops have been swapping notes with officers in Glasgow after a fifth betting shop was robbed at gunpoint.
Police are working on the theory that the same masked man may be responsible for each of the five frightening raids, which took place within the space of just four days.
It’s thought the gunman has stolen a total of £2,500 from the bookmakers shops he has targeted, which all lie within a radius of eight miles.
Detective Inspector Pat Campbell told the Paisley Daily Express: “We are following a number of lines of inquiry. However, it would appear that these robberies may have been carried out by the same man."
