Gang, gun plague echoed in Cayman

Gang, gun plague echoed in Cayman: "After a four-year-old is shot in the head, island’s police warn BDA — speak out to stop a similar tragedy happening to you
The dramatic rise in gang and gun crime that has plagued Bermuda over the past six months is being mirrored in the Cayman Islands.

There have been five gun murders there so far this year, including the killing of four-year-old Jeremiah Barnes, who was shot in the head as he sat in the back of his mother's car in February.

The murder of an innocent child has been hailed in Cayman as a watershed moment that finally convinced a reluctant community to talk to the police, resulting in a string of charges over this year's murders."
