Man shot in butt in South Seattle: "man was shot in the butt early Sunday morning on Martin Luther King Junior Way South. The Seattle Police Gang Unit is investigating.
The incident happened about 2:10 a.m. in the 6900 block after the victim was leaving a restaurant and lounge. The man told police he was walking away from the business when he was shot.
Police say the victim refused to talk to police. Police found a man in a car around the corner from the restaurant with a loaded revolver. The man, whom police say was carrying the gun illegally, was booked into King County Jail. Police have not connected that man to the shooting."
