Police reveal firearm haul - News - Worthing Herald: "West Midlands Police have revealed a haul of eight firearms that were recovered by detectives on a raid at an industrial unit in Birmingham recently.
The cache included two Baikals, a Smith and Wesson, a Brocock and the deadly MAC - 10 as well as silencers and ammunition.
The intelligence led police operation was carried out by specialist detectives from Force CID, the West Midlands Police department set up to tackle the most complex and serious of crime in the area.
More than sixty illegal firearms have been recovered by Force CID since April this year, in more than 30 operations designed to specifically tackle gun crime."
