Police still hunting alleged gunman after beloved grandad shot dead | Adelaide Now: "MELBOURNE Police are still hunting a 27-year-old man after a beloved grandfather was shot dead after being caught up in an apparent domestic dispute in Maryborough early yesterday. Peter Westbrook, 52, was shot in the stomach in the doorway of his Dodds St home just after 4am.
The alleged gunman made contact with police by phone after the shooting and they are now urging him to surrender.
'We are making a direct appeal to him to come forward and hand himself into police,'' homicide squad Det Sen-Sgt David Snare said."
