Delaware crime: Elevated level of gun violence unnerves city | delawareonline.com | The News Journal: "Gun violence in Wilmington has been a daily event in some neighborhoods over the past week, with shootings reported on six straight days between last Thursday and Tuesday.


Since the beginning of the month, eleven people have been shot in nine incidents -- two fatally.Detectives have made no arrests in any of the incidents, which they say are not related.'We're dealing with a variety of motives,' said Capt. Christine Dunning, who heads the detective division. 'Some are robbery-related, some are drug-related and in one instance, the motive appears to be jealousy over a girl.'"
