Delafield Gun Club Denies Neighbor Claims of Shootings - News Talk 97.5FM and 1360AM

Delafield Gun Club Denies Neighbor Claims of Shootings - News Talk 97.5FM and 1360AM: "shooting range in Delafield, where a stray bullet was shot that grazed a diner last month, denies claims by neighbors that there were 5 such incidents. Wayne Dehn says they’ve occurred since 2000, and he says they back up the neighbors’ contention that the Hartland Sportsman’s Club should be shut down.
But a club attorney calls the previous shootings “unsubstantiated.” 3 of them involved a nearby chemical plant where range opponents said employees once had bullets fly just over their heads. Last week, Delafield Police said a berm that was supposed to get from flying beyond the shooting range was not sufficient. The club said it previously expanded its berms, and raised their heights, to keep both the bullets and the noise under control."
