Tucson police name gang shooting victim - KGUN 9 On Your Side, Tucson News, Weather & Sports: "One man was killed and two others were injured in a gang-related gunfight Saturday night on Dodge Boulevard near Grant Road. Tucson Police Sgt. Fabian Pacheco said Sunday morning police were called to Mountain Shadows apartments at 2430 N. Dodge Boulevard at 10:58 p.m. Saturday.
The shooting victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has been identified as James S. Gonzales, 24 The other two shooting victims are 20 and 22 years old.
Pacheco described what happened:
Rival gangs were partying at adjacent apartments Saturday night when 'hurtful things were said' and an altercation made its way out into the parking lot. Each side of the dispute was armed and there was an exchange of gunfire.
'Numerous shots' were fired and one man died at the scene, in the parking lot.
Two other men had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions on Sunday were not available.
Gang detectives were at the homicide scene since early Sunday morning"
