Teen gets 10 years for firing shots at rival gang - San Jose Mercury News: "sentenced 19-year-old Victor de la Torre on Thursday after he pleaded guilty to assault with a firearm, being an active gang member and other charges in connection with the non-injury Nov. 10 shooting.
Prosecutors say even though no one was hit by the gunfire, De la Torre received the decade-long sentence because of his admission it was gang-related.
Two other Watsonville teens who also had pleaded guilty to taking part in the shooting are scheduled to be sentenced May 6."
