21-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Taiba on Saturday night. The man's sister, 28, was lightly hurt and her seven-year-old daughter was moderately wounded in the attack, which occurred when they got out of their car.
Police are investigating whether the shooting was part of a 10-year feud between rival crime families in the northern town - a feud which has thus far claimed more than 20 lives.
Police said that the victim had had previous run-ins with the law but would not specify what kind of past activities he was involved in.
Residents of the Arab town rushed to provide first aid to the wounded, and quickly drove them to a medical clinic.
