The shooting is possibly gang-related, and the investigation is ongoing

Two black men and a black female, all in their early 20s, were walking west on Pacific Coast Highway near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue when a suspect in a green sedan fired several rounds at them at about 9:20 p.m., said Long Beach Police Lt. Robert Smith.
The pedestrians ran for cover into Whistler Liquor on 945 E. Pacific Coast Highway, said store employee Prayong Bunteung.
Bunteung said he heard about five shots fired.
One of the male pedestrians was shot in the leg and was transported to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening wound, Smith said.
No suspect information was available Saturday night.
The shooting is possibly gang-related, and the investigation is ongoing, Smith said.
